The picturesque  Jura Krakowsko-Częstochowska is interesting not only in terms of nature but also in history. You can find there numerous castles, many of which have been preserved in very good condition so far. Fans of monuments, including medieval fortresses, especially from the times of  Casimir the Great (Polish king 1333–1370), can find many tourist attractions in this area.
